Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Select product per customer order in proper product rotation, utilizing FIFO method.
- Load product onto refrigerated trailers, ensure that trailers are in clean and good condition and cooling properly and that documentation is correct prior to loading.
- Document items, amounts, and code dates of each product loaded on the shipping manifest.
- Verify purchased product trailers are locked or sealed and documents on incoming goods reports. If not locked or sealed properly call a supervisor.
- Verify that seal numbers agree with those written on the manifest.
- Document the temperature of the trailer being received along with the temperature of the products with a temperature gun.
- If temperature of product is above 45 degrees F call supervisor.
- Inspect trailers and goods to be received for condition and cleanliness and document accordingly. Report to supervisor if needed.
- If goods to be received are allergenic, or do not contain milk allergen, store product in a separate area and not in a rack above other products.
- Report any product integrity issues during storage, receiving, or loading must be reported to supervisor.
- Example: damaged, soiled product, broken seal, improper code date, improper temperature.
- Clean equipment and environment as per master sanitation schedule.
- Report food safety or quality issues to management and assist in implementing corrective action measures.
Basic Qualifications:
- HS Diploma
- Must have 1 year working in a Manufacturing Environment
- Prefer experience in a role deal with Quality Control checks.
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift
All plant new hires are required to become members of the Teamsters Local 50 Union.
Pay rate: $21.77 per hour.
