We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support a large health services clinic at a local county jail in Everett, WA.
Position Details:
- 4/10 schedule
- Graveyard shift
- 12 week contract
- Paid Orientations, Facility and Computer Training
Duties/Expectations:
- Physical assessments
- Facilitate medical and mental sick calls
- Chronic care
- Medication administration
- Wound care
- Triage medical needs
- Excellent communication — both written and verbal
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Be able to work independently as well as with a team
Licensure/Education:
- New graduates accepted - BSN desirable
- Psychiatric/Behavioral Health experience beneficial
- Current unencumbered Washington State Registered Nurse License
Employment Qualifications:
- Current BLS Certification – *must be AHA accredited*
- Must have current TB test or x-ray at time of hire
- Reliable transportation to all scheduled shifts
- Strong nursing assessment skills
- The incumbent must pass a criminal background check
- The incumbent must pass a pre-employment drug screen
