Construction Technician, Carpenter

A Carpenter at Tesla will have the opportunityto work on a wide variety of projects and tasks. A well-qualified applicantwill have experience in many aspects of carpentry and will not hesitate tolearn new aspects of carpentry. You will also be asked train of new employeesand work alongside other trades to complete projects.   

• Minimum 5+ years verifiable experienceas a Journeyman Carpenter (applicants with less than 5 years will be assessedfor experience level and be considered)
• The ability to read and understanddrawings and specifications as well as to contribute to creating as-builtdrawings
• Strong working knowledge of job sitesafety with ability to thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete pre-worktask planning with an emphasis on identifying hazards
• Ability to work in high elevation up to80 ft. high and extensive knowledge in using hand and power tools
• Must have strong interpersonal skills,along with the ability to interact with all levels of management; must havehigh degree of initiative, and the ability to work alone and effectively withother people
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• The ability to think outside the box andfind innovative solutions OSHA-10 and willingness to travel
