Job Description
Position Summary
Echo Systems Construction Superintendents are responsible for the on-site management of all assigned construction projects, including but not limited to, scheduling and coordinating with subcontractors, ordering and arranging for delivery of materials, coordination with property staff, and communication with Echo office team for revenue and expense management. The Superintendent works closely with the Project Manager to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction for the overall project.
Responsibilities
Field Responsibilities
Schedule subcontractors to be on site at the appropriate times
Follow the scope of work provided by the project manager for each job
Work with office team to ensure all work is properly contracted/subcontracted
Track expenses to ensure Echo abides by the proposal authorized by the customer
Assist project manager and office team in knowing when/how much to invoice the customer, based on job progress
Assist superintendents with change orders
Assist in managing site personnel and subcontractors
Coordinate material ordering/delivery in support of your subcontractors
Perform site visits regularly to assist project manager in holding vendors accountable to the scope of work, budget and timelines committed to the customer
Ensure an exceptional customer experience
Ensure project work meets the highest standards of workmanship based on industry standards
All other duties or projects as assigned
Admin Responsibilities
Ensure all subcontractors are working under a proper subcontract agreement
Approve invoices weekly if they are in the correct amount and you have inspected the work
Reject invoices that are incorrect, or for which the work is not complete to Echo standards
Assist project managers in meeting or exceeding revenue and profit margin goals as defined by Echo management
Create, update, and present project schedules to customer and Echo management weekly
Assist project manager in tracking change orders and all extras on projects via signed change order form and budget updates

Qualifications
2+ years experience working within a construction/renovation team environment
Strong business ethics, integrity, and ability to perform in highly autonomous environments
Strong writing and oral communication skills
Strong computer and technology skills
Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders and local officials
Active Driver’s License is required
Must have a personal truck, employee vehicle not provided
Some travel may be required
Some nights and weekends may be required, due to unforeseen customer emergencies
