JOB SUMMARY:

The Brice Builders, LLC Construction Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining P6 schedules on USACE construction projects. This position is responsible for the preparation of the schedule, weekly BIM meeting attendance, all required updating for monthly invoice preparation and production of project and management reports. This position will work closely with the construction management team to develop and track project schedules. This position may qualify for remote work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules in an efficient manner.
  • Perform schedule analysis using Critical Path Method.
  • Update progress reporting.
  • Cost load activities for planning and monitoring progress.
  • Establish and/or use standard activity coding.
  • Maintain multiple schedules to track and present time impact analyses.
  • Formulate reports including work progress and cost schedules.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports, as directed by management.
  • Monitor progress and identify areas of concern related to schedule.
  • Review project progress and schedule updates to anticipate schedule impacts and advise construction team.
  • Maintain communication with construction management team to design project scopes and reports on cost and schedule and ensure that the schedules are accurate.
  • Maintain current project schedule and project completion documentation.
  • Manage schedule review meetings with construction management team and clients.
  • Review and analyze schedule throughout all phases of the project.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as directed.


SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CPM scheduling principles and application.
  • Knowledge of computer-based construction and scheduling programs.
  • Knowledge of database software, spreadsheet software and word processing software.
  • Knowledge of heavy civil construction and ability to perform functions specific to position.
  • Strong personnel management skills and ability to enforce Federal, State and company labor and employment regulations.
  • Ability to work on secure military facilities.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Ability to be detail oriented, organized, and proactively follow-up as needed.
  • Effective oral and technical written communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate complex information to others as well as to present information in front of a group.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in tasks in the work environment; manage competing demands and change approach to best fit the situation.
  • Ability to work independently and work cooperatively with others.
  • Must be able to deal with frequent delays, and unexpected tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft business software applications presently used by the Company; ability to learn new applications.
  • Experience and familiarity with RMS 3.0.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings with clients.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to learn and understand the Company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ability to work in a Native Corporation multi-business environment.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
  • 5 years of experience with scheduling construction projects in the $5M to $50M range required.
  • 5 years of experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software required.
  • US Army Corps of Engineers scheduling experience required.
  • Critical Path Method (CPM) project schedule development experience required.
  • Valid state driver's license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Company's Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screening.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Brice Builders, LLC has a fast-paced multi-tasking office environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. At times, work is performed outside of the office at indoor and outdoor job sites. Adaptability regarding schedule and design changes, and occasional overtime for immediate field support or bid processing may be necessary.
