Salary range is based on experience. Total compensation is based on base salary plus commission. We offer a guaranteed income for an initial period of time – enough time to build up your pipelines.

CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE PREFERENCE.

Overview: Implement the Company’s Metro-DC business Strategy, Vision and Mission in Metro-DC market area of Northern Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland, as defined and directed by Company Management.
This is a full-spectrum job, that stretches from project inception to final closeout.

This is a combination role of business development/sales and project management
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement and expand the company business development strategy
- Manage customer accounts and territories as assigned by company management
- Develop new and existing accounts and build customer relationships
- Increase company market presence by prospecting, cold calling and attending networking events
- Create estimates and proposals
- Review specification and Contract Documents thoroughly while preparing proposals to ensure scope alignment
- Develop innovative solutions for access, shoring and hoisting needs
- Manage all aspects of projects from start to finish
- Review subcontracts for adherence to scope and pricing
- Order COI’s and other administrative documents as required by client
- Schedule crews and trucking as needed to meet project deadlines
- Create timely material lists for yard crews to pull
- Manage and oversee outside engineering consultants
- Manage submittals to ensure all required approvals are in place when needed
- Create job specific AHA’s and provide safety documentation as needed to support projects
- Coordinate field crew access and badging requirements
- Order materials as needed to project needs
- Attend job start-ups to provide leadership and good communications between crew and client
- Create project invoices
- Track project scope changes and communicate as needed with customer to ensure change orders are approved in a timely fashion
- Work proactively with Accounts Receivable to ensure prompt resolution of aged receivables
- Serve as role model/example to others by demonstrating Leadership, Quality, Safety and Professionalism in all work activities
- Participate in training activities as directed by management
- Attend and participate in Sales and Operations Planning meetings
- Assist other Project Managers as needed with job take-offs, labor and scaffold estimates
- Ensure projects are installed within budget
- Track project profitability
- Proactively look for ways to reduce costs, increase safety and quality on all projects
- Maintain electronic information on the shared company server
- Participate in Lean Management and Process Improvement initiatives to improve Quality, Safety and Productivity
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
