To determine if your title is designated as 52.6 go to the Department of Civil Service website and search for your title under GOT-IT Duties Description Provide supervisory and administrative leadership to the Regional Operations program.Duties include Management of approximately 45 full-time and seasonal employees; coordinating all maintenance centers, a large regional office complex and 2 sub-offices and capital construction activities; coordinating regional activities relative to field equipment including the vehicular fleet maintenance and operation; and coordinating regional safety responsibilities.The COS 4 has an increasing role and set of responsibilities regarding Emergency Response, asset location and potential deployment, site inspection and evaluation, and related responsibilities associated with weather events or other emergencies, working closely with the Regional Emergency Response Coordinator and the Central Office. Additional Comments Must have a valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain. Must be able to work in remote areas. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Travel may be required. Overnight travel may be required. Weekends and holidays may be required.
