Condo Accountant

Opportunity to join Oahu's first Forbes 5-star luxury hotel! Trump International Hotel Waikiki has an immediate opening for the position of Condo Accountant – Full Time.

Position Overview:

Responsible for all duties and oversight of accounting for the unit owners of the condo/hotel, including rental program whcih includes tasks such as providing accurate and timely billings, statements, reports, tax filings, yeear-end filings, project tracking and ad-hoc report analysis in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures. Additional duties will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications and Specific Requirements:

College degree in accounting highly desired and will be given preference. One (1) to two (2) years prior accounting experience required, preferably in hospitality/condo field. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially in Excel; experience in Accounts Receivable software preferred. Must be proficient with a 10-Key calculator. Ability to perform tasks with strict deadlines. Ability to communicate successfully and maintain good interpersonal relations with guests, employees, unit owners and the general public either in person, over the telephone, or via email. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines. Prolonged sitting (up to 8 hours); frequent walking and standing. Lifting, pushing/pulling up to 25 pounds, with or without assistance. Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, stretch, kneeling, twisting, climbing, reaching, grasping. Reaching overhead – occasionally extending the arms/hands above the head in any direction. Must have appropriate vision, hearing and oral communication skills needed to perform daily tasks. Requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Must be able to adjust to comfortably work in an inside office environment. Must be able to access all public and private areas of the property, including stairwells, elevators, all maintenance and equipment areas/rooms, guest rooms, etc.
