COMMUNICATIONS LEAD - MEMBER ENGAGEMENT

Position Description
As a Communications Lead - Member Engagement, you will be responsible for editorial coordination and consultation for Member Engagement marketing communications. This includes writing, developing, and implementing materials to support strategic organizational goals and objectives. You will write for a variety of diverse audiences, including content for Medicaid, Medicare and Individual & Family Plan products. Collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders are required.
• Coordinate the writing, development and production of multi-channel marketing and communications for diverse audiences, ensuring accuracy of brand standards and health literacy.
• Assist in the development of marketing and communication strategies in conjunction with the Content Strategist Supervisor, Marketing Manager and internal business partners.
• Serve as an editorial resource and health literacy consultant to other departments on communication projects, and work in a cross-functional or collaborative function with other areas of the organization and within the team.
• Adhere to the required member material process mapping system and fulfill business owner and marketing communications roles as outlined in the process.
• Collaborate with marketing team members to flex workload as needed.
• Partner with the Government Relations teams on the development and review of the process for required materials.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's or advanced degree in communications-related field required.
Required Experience
Five years of corporate or non-profit marketing communications experience required. Demonstrated project management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs and experience working within a marketing project management system required.
Preferred Experience
Health care communications and multi-channel, integrated marketing experience preferred. Experience working in a government-regulated industry a plus. Experience writing for diverse populations and audiences preferred.
