Job Description

The Commercial Security Sales Representative is responsible for going to market new B2B accounts to proactively sell smart business security, fire, access control, and video surveillance by overseeing the sale of products or services from beginning to end. You’ll have the opportunity to sell in all of Ohio, be asked to visit 15-25 potential customers per day, have the ability to close provided appointment leads., and work well within team environment. This individual is the direct point of contact with a customer and in charge of ensuring a customer’s needs and expectations are met. A sales representative will know their product and service inside and out and guide their customers through the purchase process efficiently and satisfactorily. We work exclusively with new home builders and have a mix of leads as well neighborhoods where we do low voltage in.

Position will provide a base plus commission compensation plan

Position will provide a fuel card and/or company vehicle

Would prefer some experience within the security/fire industry, but would also interview motivated sales representatives who have had success in other markets seeking a change of industy.

Responsibilities and Requirements

· Acquires new customers by canvassing and prospecting

· Researches customer’s purchase needs

· Adjusts sales tactics based on tests and new insights in the field

· Maintains monthly, quarterly and annual minimum goals

· Makes recommendations for the customer

· Maintains documentation of customer contact and account updates

· 1+ year of outbound sales experience is preferred

· Customer service and people skills

· Phone, email, and chat communication skills

· Prospecting skills

· Territory management aptitude

· Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills

· Ability to meet deadlines and financial goal minimums

· Ability to work well in team environment and atmosphere

· Willingness to help and support other team members

· Motivated by individual and team success and achievements

· Motivation skills and a positive attitude

· Able to pass criminal background check
