Description:
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a front office environment, and learn about trading and pricing mortgages, derivatives, and other securitized products. It is a unique role where technologists interact with senior traders and quants on a frequent basis and can see firsthand the impact they have on the business.
The Global Spread Products (GSP) Technology securitized products group is looking for a strong C# developer to enhance and support a suite of applications and scripts used by the Agency and Non-Agency Mortgage desks to manage their positions and portfolio risk, price their inventory, manage customer flows and derive market intelligence from internal and external data sources. In addition, this person will work to automate processes and reports that are part of complex workflows to manage enterprise risk, regulatory commitments, and back-office processing. The candidate will be required to communicate with multiple teams, prioritize requirements and escalate risks and execution to management and stake holders appropriately.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field, Master's degree preferred
• Around 15 years of total IT experience with strong server-side and services development
• Around 10 years of experience in C# Development
• Expertise working in Front Office environment is strongly preferred
• Muti-threading expertise
• Strong SQL Server experience with ability to optimize queries and store procedures
• Web Services and WCF experience
• Experience in one of the middleware technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or TibcoEMS
• Familiarity with DevOps technologies such as Jenkins, uDeploy, TeamCity
• Familiarity with Distributed Caching frameworks such as Redis, Gemfire or Apache Ignite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work as part of a small team and independently as required

• Experience with Mortgage-backed securities
• Fixed income business knowledge
• Angular/HTML 5 Web Dev Experience
• Java Experience
• Knowledge of Python
