Cnc Programmer

Responsibilities:

• Formulate efficient operational programs that maximize machine utilization and product quality to assure customer expectations are met.
• Complete and maintain the program documentation and file system.
• Responsiveness to quick turn, short-term needs of the shop.
• Contribute to the cost reduction program by actively seeking and reporting opportunities for reduced costs.
• Maintain awareness of new ideas in processes, tools, methods, etc. and apply them effectively to CNC manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain open communication with all personnel and include accepting suggestions and instruction.
• Responsible for coordinating with the Manufacturing Engineer to update routers for part programs created or modified.
• Utilizing Fanuc Controls primarily.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• 7 years of CNC dedicated programming
• 7 years in Machining and programming preferred.
• Experience programming oilfield components is preferred.
• Experience programming Multi-Axis Lathes and Mills.
• Prefer experience with MasterCam - (Gibbs Cam Software and/or SolidCam a plus)
• Prefer experience with API Threads and programming live tooling
• Experience with SolidWorks and creating Models
• Comply with all Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Prefer experience with 5 axis machining with a secondary spindle

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
