Job Summary:
Senior Helpers - Greater Richmond is seeking compassionate and dedicated CNA 's or PCA's to join our team as part of a 24/7 case in Manakin Sabot. Both part-time or full-time hours with hourly pay of $18/hr on weekdays and $21/hr on weekends are available. Shifts are 12-hours changing at 8am and 8pm. The care is for a 68-year-old man needing ADL support. He lives with his wife and large/friendly dog. The caregiver must be comfortable with the dog being around and helping with him too. This is not a physically challenging case, but it does require a mature, reliable, seasoned caregiver.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to senior clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders.
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status to the nursing supervisor.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation.
- Foster a safe and comfortable environment for clients, advocating for their needs and promoting independence.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided.
Requirements:
- Valid CNA or PCA certification in the state of Virginia.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or home care setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
