Job Description
Provides administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attendingphysician, under the direction of the attending physician, the bursesupervisor, or charge nurse, and the DON. The administration ofmedications shall be in accordance with the established nursing standards, thepolicies, procedures, and practices of this facility and the requirements ofthis state. Provides direct care to residents following theindividualized care plan.
Education and RequirementsMust possess a high school education or its equivalent.Current certification of Certified Medication Aide per state requirements.Preferred experience in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing facilities.
