About the Role
In this role, you will be the driving force behind our Phoenix Program, a dynamic and vital component of our Youth Services Division. The Phoenix Program, a 24-hour 16-bed mid-level Behavioral Rehabilitation Services (BRS) residential treatment program, serves as a beacon of hope for our youth. As a Clinical Programs Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to oversee all division clinical services, provide clinical supervision, and ensure that our treatment and service planning align with licensing requirements. About this Division
The Youth Services Division operates 24/7, has approximately 80 full-time staff, six program units, and is located in three different buildings on the John Serbu Youth Campus in Eugene, Oregon. The division is comprised of the following units:
  • Administration Services: Division planning and management, data, grants administration, information systems, volunteers and accounting.
  • Supervision Services: Services for youth on probation including a juvenile drug court and staff assigned to youth with problematic sexual behaviors, victim advocate services, records management and expungements, and support for division-wide work.
  • Detention Services: 16-bed detention facility serving youth ages 12-19, including youth being held on adult criminal charges, and health services (medical, dental, and mental health) for youth.
  • Treatment Services (Phoenix): 16-bed behavioral treatment program for youth involved in the juvenile justice system.
  • Education & Vocation Services (MLK Education Center): A collaboration between the division and Lane Education Service District (Lane ESD). Services provided include alternative school for high-risk, adjudicated, community youth; education for youth in Detention and Phoenix Treatment; horticulture and culinary arts vocational programs; and community service and restitution crews for youth.
  • Nutrition Services: Is a federally licensed National School Lunch Program. Provides approximately 50,000 meals and snacks per year to youth housed in Detention, Phoenix, and youth in school and on vocational crews at and through the MLK Education Center.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm.
*These hours are subject to change based on operational need. Shift work and weekend work may be required. On-call work required (after-hours, weekends, holidays). On-call assignment requires remaining within 1.5 hours of the Lane County Youth Services Building.

QUALIFICATIONS
Training:
  • Master's Degree; registered to provide Clinical Supervision in the State of Oregon; one year of supervision, management or progressively related experience.
  • 2 years of experience in the Clinical supervision or management of a residential facility or program using a proctor care model for the care and treatment of children.

Experience:
  • Four years of professional experience directly related to area assigned, including lead or supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Special Requirememts:
  • Must possess a valid Oregon Driver's License, at time of hire, and maintain an acceptable driver's record. Possession of or obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Current CPR and Basic First Aid certification.

If you enroll in the HDHP the County will contribute to your HSA: $1,500 (individual) or $3,000 (family) annually. This amount is prorated based on date of hire.
