Clinical Outcomes Specialist, StrokeWanting to join a strong team in a Comprehensive Stroke Center?  This position is for you!        Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours: PRN, 8:00am - 5:00pm Clinical Outcomes Specialist position highlights:

Here's What You Need
  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare related field required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, Mathematics or closely related field required
  • Master's Degree in Healthcare, Business, Mathematics or closely related field preferred
  • Registered Nurse highly preferred
  • Three years of experience in a clinical setting required
  • One year of auditing/abstraction or Stroke Registry experience highly preferred
  • EPIC experience highly preferred
  • Other clinical licensure commensurate with area of expertise (if applicable) upon hire required
  • Expertise in clinical data collections, aggregation, analysis, display of data using spreadsheet applications preferred
What You Will Do
  • Concurrently review patients records for completeness of documentation related to core measures, regulatory requirements, etc
  • Maintain daily operations of critical database systems
  • Responsible for performance improvement consultation and education of hospital and staff using performance improvement techniques and data
  • Facilitate performance improvement teams and committees for specified clinical and non-clinical services
  • Responsible for the design of reports to facilitate and support the development and implementation of hospital and system targets
  • Coordinates and prepares reports and supporting documentation for regulatory compliance
