This position is located in Port Angeles, WA. Relocation Assistance will be provided.
Reports to: Chief Operations Officer
Pay Range: $100,000 to $125,000 per year (DOE/DOQ) plus $10,000 signing bonus.
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Work Days: Monday to Friday
JOB PURPOSE: Provides oversight to intensive clinical programs including 24-hour Mobile Crisis Outreach, Crisis Stabilization Services, Residential Treatment Services, and Community Support Services. Supervises program supervisors and ensures treatment provided meets current contract and regulatory standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for implementing and ensuring accountability to Certified Community Behavioral Health standards throughout assigned clinical departments.
- Promote an inclusive culture of learning and professional development amongst clinical staff.
- Promotes a culture of accountability and professionalism.
- Promote data driven care utilizing appropriate Evidence Based Practices.
- Responsible for the clinical and administrative oversight of assigned departments.
- Act as a liaison inter- and intra-departmentally to coordinate and integrate services. Ensure staff compliance with mandatory trainings and licensing certifications.
- Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of innovative and evidence based clinical programs at PBH.
- Provide direct clinical and administrative supervision to program supervisors and provides back up coverage as needed. Documents care within organizational guidelines and standards.
- Ensure contractual standards are upheld at all times and assume a leadership role during clinical audits.
- Provide leadership to guide the organization's efforts in continuous quality improvement.
- Promote collaborative relationships with community partners on an ongoing basis.
- Role-models, coaches, and assists the development of personnel in the areas of professional and technical development, team building, and patient management techniques.
- Attends, participates in, and facilitates meetings and educational trainings.
- May assist in the planning, development, and implementation of clinical programs at PBH.
- Coordinates with coordinators, supervisors, managers, and directors to address client concerns and grievances.
- May assist in development of PBH's marketing plans; assists in marketing PBH's programs to potential and existing referral sources and actively participates in appropriate community organizations.
- Ensures the cost effective and efficient delivery of care, and the appropriate utilization of resources.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Maintains familiarity with and handles client information in accordance with Federal Regulations (42 CFR, Part 2), the Revised Code of Washington (RCW 71.05.390 and RCW 71.24), and other applicable laws pertaining to confidentiality of client and staff information.
- Maintains physical security of confidential materials and assigned Agency property.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains familiarity with and handles client information in accordance with Federal regulations (42 CFR, part 2), the Revised Code of Washington (71.05.390 and 71.24), and other applicable laws pertaining to the confidentiality of client and staff information.
- Maintains working knowledge of DCR Protocols and RCWs 71.05 and 71.34.
- Maintains working knowledge of WAC's related to 24 hour service programs.
- Maintains physical security of confidential materials and assigned Agency property.
- Participates actively in professional organizations in order to further education, professional growth, and networking.
- Attends Performance Improvement Meetings on a regular scheduled basis.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
- Provides quality control and performance expectation management in response to PBH's various contracts and funding sources.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, LICENSE(S), CERTIFICATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling or Doctorate in Psychology
Licensure: Professional Licensure such as LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC
Experience: Five (5) years in the behavioral health field with three (3) years supervisory experience in behavioral health administration
Additional requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Must be able to provide vaccination records for HepB, MMR, Tdap and recent flu shot
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL CREDENTIALS / EXPERIENCE:
Experience: Six (6) years in behavioral health/human services with four (4) years supervisory experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Essential:
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to consumers with complex behavioral health needs across the lifespan.
- Must be able to qualify as a Designated Crisis Responder.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of Washington Administrative Code (WAC) standards as they apply to community behavioral health.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of CCBHC standards and requirements.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
