The Client's mission is to bring high-quality behavioral therapy to communities that do not readily have access to services for children with autism. We are looking for a clinic-based Clinical Director with a heart for helping underserved populations.

Clinical director salaries start at $80,000 and up based on experience. We are also offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for all BCBAs who start before April 30th, 2023. We are committed to providing our BCBAs with a strong support and development system to combat the burnout that is rampant in our field. BCBAs are provided monthly professional development opportunities to support their clinical, supervisory, and leadership growth, attend one professional conference per year, and participate in our yearly Professional Development Day. Piece by Piece is an ACE provider and many CEUs are available throughout the year.
Clinical Director responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversees daily operations of the clinic and ensures policies and procedures are upheld
- Provides supervision, guidance, and mentorship to BCBAs, supervision students, and RBTs
- Lead small group and clinic-wide training
- Supervise and ensure completion of effective, evidence-based individualized treatment plans, behavior support plans, and assessments for all clients
- Oversees new client intake and assessment process
- Ensures all BCaBA, RBT, and trainee supervision requirements are met on a monthly basis
- Coordinates additional support with Regional Director as needed for challenging cases
- Provide staff support by conducting quarterly check-ins with staff to create goals and review progress
- Complete and deliver staff reviews
- Conducts in-person interviews of potential new hires
- Maintains a database of current and potential clients
- Remains current regarding BACB guidelines, new research, current trends and developments related to autism, special education, and related fields by attending CEU events and maintaining BCBA credential
- May support a small caseload as needed (up to 4 clients) (i.e., providing consultation, conducting parent meetings, writing auth packets, program updates, etc.)
Minimum requirements include:
- An active BCBA certification from the BACB
- An active and valid CPR and First Aid certification from either the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Clear background check
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (i.e. kneeling, sitting – in both a chair and on the floor, squatting, standing, etc.) for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred skills include:
- 3-5 years of clinical leadership experience
- Experience with Catalyst and Central Reach
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Google Workspace apps (Drive, Docs, Gmail)
- Safety Care training
