Job description
- Provide consultative active management of day-to-day clinical service offerings supporting the sales and
implementation of the company’s clinical programs - Analyze physician prescribing and member utilization patterns to identify trends and client needs; appropriately leverage
clinical offerings to include formulary management and cost effective clinical solutions - Attend finalist presentations, client benefit and utilization reviews; lead clinical portion
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout plan implementation and plan administration
- Interact cross-functionally regarding group installation and management
- Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients, consultants and third party administrators
- Analyze and recommend new product/client benefits
- Identify client specific and emerging industry trends as well as identify short term and long term up-sell opportunities
- Coordinate clinical project plans individually and with account management and clinical teams
- Provide background and strategic insight to internal sales pursuit teams
- Promote an environment of collaboration and communication among departments
- Participate in business events, conferences, trade shows and seminars on an as needed basis
- Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) experience required
- Upsell of product experience required
- Clinical Pharmacist experience of at least 2 years
- Other duties as assigned
- The typical starting pay range for this position is between (Min-Max) although wages can vary based on experience and geography
