Job Description
The Clinic CMA/LPN/RN is responsible for administering patient care services in the clinic facility and assisting the Registered Nurse in care of the more acutely ill. Documents patient condition changes in charts, records, vital signs, administers medication and vaccinations, and provides basic care while working closely with medical providers.
  • Utilizes the nursing process, for the performance of patient care, to assess, plan intervene and evaluate patient care to achieve prioritized patient outcomes.
  • Assists provider during clinic in accordance with RN scope of practice, collects and prepares specimens for lab tests, maintains instruments/equipment, preps patients for procedures.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service/care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  • Secures and returns supplies, maintains room stock and practices sterile techniques and prevents cross contamination.
  • Communicates effectively with team members while ensuring all documentation is maintained and accurate in each patient record. Promotes and ensures patient safety in performance of administering medications, treatments, procedures according to physician orders/nursing policy in a timely manner and maintains good time management, flexibility and positively adapts to healthcare demands.
  • Participate in activities to support quality patient care at all clinic locations and performs other duties as assigned.

Hours: Minimum 20-24 hours/week, Monday-Friday, rotating Saturdays, 7:45am-5:00pm
Experience and Skills
Education, Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • Effective knowledge and familiarity with word processing, computer navigation, and e-mail
  • A minimum of one to two years nursing experience preferred
  • Prior clinic experience, preferred

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:
  • Currently licensed as a CMA/LPN/RN in the State of Nebraska
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
