Client Service Executive - Eb

The Account Executive (AE) is a licensed professional who serves as an insurance advisor and consultant to our clients. The AE represents the agency?s primary and most visible customer service arm. In conjunction with the Producer, the AE expertly manages the client relationship. The AE works with clients to develop an insurance program that will adequately respond to the client?s total benefits needs. The AE is experienced in handling all clients with simple and complex needs and is expert in all program types: community rating, underwritten, self-insured as well as alternative funded. To that end, AEs must regularly consult with the client to identify changing needs and recommend appropriate and cost effective solutions. After implementing the proper program for the client, the AE acts as a liaison between the client and the insurance company(s), gathering and passing information about the client to the insurance company and providing customer service throughout the life of the relationship. An AE may elect to do this through assignment and supervision of other team members. Additionally, the AE audits the client?s selected program to ensure it meets all regulatory compliance matters. The AE may be supported by the Account Service Manager and Assistant Account Executive and may act in a supervisory role with the Producer.

Essential Functions

Serving as an insurance advisor and consultant to the Firm's clients, the AE helps each client select the proper insurance package by comparing and evaluating possible scenarios and making a decision with the client after the various possibilities have been considered.

When doing this task, the AE analyzes the client?s insurance needs and compares these needs to the insurance packages available, taking into account the price of the coverage and the appetite to retain risk? relative to new and prospective business.

Responsible for making sure that client policy change requests and needs throughout the year are managed efficiently and accurately. Responsible for the review of the client audits and communication of discrepancies to carriers for resolution. Renews/binds policies, logs and reviews policies for accuracy.

Responsible for the overall accuracy of proposal, summary of insurance and policy information presented to client.

The AE's specific day-to-day duties include consulting with the client to regularly identify/ recommend solutions to manage the client?s changing risk and exposure, through growth or reduction in force. Relates to renewal, retention and cross sell to current client. Claims management when necessary to assure client is accessing benefits correctly and carrier is responding appropriately.

Responsible for analysis, reports, billing breakdowns and presentation material needed for the benefits/networks programs.

May perform or assist producer, managing director on client appointments and looks to add additional lines of coverage when appropriate.
