Job Description SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet and direct members. Schedule new and established WTC member appointments.

Perform daily registration adhering to H+H guidelines. Call members and answer all inquiries via email, fax and or phone. Record all messages.

Review records and documentation. Scan all incoming medical records and applicable documentation into the EMR for new and established members. Educate members about the details of upcoming appointments (including examinations, assessments and test) to support a positive patient experience.

Follow NYC Health + Hospitals policies and procedures and relevant regulatory guidance to ensure patient safety and compliance with privacy laws. Collaborate with providers, nurses, social workers and all other clinical staff to ensure an excellent patient experience for all members Provide administrative assistance to the clinic administrator and assistant director. Assist members in navigating the federal Zadroga Act including all benefits.

Provide coordination support to the various WTC teams including but limited to, the WTC-3 Certification team, Care Management and Data Center. Participate as an active member of the WTC team and H+H/Bellevue, including attending meetings as requested by supervisor. Assist with obtaining and entering insurance information.

Verify all insurance eligibility via RTE in EPIC and or insurance companies. Liaise between WTC Front desk, WTC Claims and H+H/Bellevue Finance Department Help patients understand how to access hospital services by providing pertinent information and answering questions. Minimum Qualifications Assignment Level I 1.

High School diploma or GED; and 2. One (1) year of full-time customer service experience; and 3. Good written and oral English communication skills; and 4.
