Disaster Restoration Cleaning Department Supervisor
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Manager/Supervisor for our Disaster Restoration Cleaning Department. The successful candidate will oversee a team responsible for handling a variety of disaster restoration jobs, including fires, floods, smoke damage, hoarding situations, specialty cleaning services, intense one-time deep cleanings, and more. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, excellent organization, and the ability to interact with clients while also being hands-on when necessary.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate all activities within the disaster restoration cleaning department.
2. Lead and manage a team of restoration technicians, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to handle various restoration projects effectively.
3. Oversee the scheduling of restoration jobs, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
4. Conduct regular inspections of job sites to ensure quality standards are met and safety protocols are followed.
5. Interact with clients to assess their needs, provide estimates, and address any concerns or questions they may have throughout the restoration process.
6. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to coordinate resources and support for restoration projects.
7. Maintain accurate records of project details, including job progress, materials used, and client communications.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
9. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
10. Provide leadership and support during emergency response situations, including after-hours availability as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in cleaning and disaster restoration for over 5 years.
2. Proven experience in project management, preferably in the disaster restoration or cleaning industry.
3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
6. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Proficiency in Spanish and English.
8. Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends, especially during emergency response situations.
9. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to disaster restoration and cleaning services is a plus.
10. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional after-hours availability required. Pay: $13.00 - $26.00 per hour
