Child & Adolescent Psychologist – M60350

Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry, seeks a Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist as Faculty at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children (VTCC), the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The Child Psychologist will be responsible for providing clinical services (in primarily outpatient, rotation coverage on inpatient, and consultation/liaison settings), research, teaching and supervising trainees within the APA accredited internship and other psychology training programs, and providing leadership in the implementation and evaluation of evidence-based treatments. Research and/or other scholarly work (publications/presentations) is highly desired for this position.

Qualifications: Virginia Licensed Clinical Psychologist, experience treating children/adolescents and families required. Research experience, program evaluation and/or publications. Experienced Teacher. Supervisory experience and ability to work as member of interdisciplinary medical team. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so.  Individuals with clinical specialties (e.g., evidence-based practices, substance use, developmental disabilities/autism spectrum) are encouraged to apply.
