A 2nd Shift Chemical Processing Technician job in Bloomfield, CT is currently accepting applications. This is a contract to hire position with our key aerospace client. In this role you will work with chemicals in a spray room, and Assemble components together, polish, clean and deburr metallic parts, and Pack finished product into bags/boxes and shipping containers. To be considered you will be a High school graduate or GED, and have 0-5 or more years of experience. You will follow guided instructions, be motivated, focused on quality, and willing to come to work every day.
* This role is working in a chemical application room, and PPE will be provided.
2nd Shift Chemical Processing Technician Responsibilities:
* Assemble components together
* Mask and or remove tape using razor and or xacto blades.
* Spray. Using a spray gun similar to spraying a car. Wearing a respirator is required.
* Work with chemicals. PPE is required and provided. (hearing protection required)
* May use epoxies (KAtherm or Wear Pads)
* Putting parts in fixtures, grit spray
* Pack finished product into bags/boxes and shipping containers
* Create and apply labels to packages as required utilizing computer software
* Set-up / operate packaging, laser marking and assembly press equipment
* Occasionally work with Chemicals. PPE required and provided
* Polish, clean and deburr metallic parts
Requirements:
* High school graduate or GED.
* Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Pay Rates:
* Assembler C $18 (0-1 yrs exp.)
* Assembler B $19 (1-3 yrs exp.)
* Assembler A $20 (4+ yrs exp.)
10% Shift differential on top of regular rate.
