Hope Power & Industrial Inc. is a specialty manpower resource provider to contractors, industrial facilities and power generation plants: We have an immediate need for CDL heavy utility Truck Driver to join the team at Tallulah Falls dam for mobilization of major upgrades to the dam. (Locals preferred)

Seeking ONLY local applicants: Position NO Allowance Per Diem / Travel Expense.

Job Description

ur customer is contractor repairing and modifying Hydroelectric dam in Tallulah Falls, GA has immediate need for utility truck driver with valid Georgia CDL license. Utility Vehicle Driver to operate large diesel trucks and other equipment delivering materials to location of unload onto barges for demolition crews.

• Drives and/or operates diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on jobsite (Backhoe, Trencher, Directional Bore, Digger Derrick, Pole/Bucket Truck)

• Unloading/loading of materials on/off barges

• Performs other duties as necessary associated with concrete and rebar placement for dam repairs and upgrades underground utility construction

You should:

• You are authorized to work in the United States for this company

• You have prior experience within the underground, or utility Construction/Maintenance industry

• You have valid GA CDL

• You have experience and knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner

• You have basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner

• You may have the ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground utilities

• You have your own dependable transportation to / from jobsite.

• You are able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.

• You are able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies

• You are able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance

• You are able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call)

• You are able to maintain a safe work environment

• You are able to work in all weather conditions
