Job Summary: As a Catering Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional catering experiences to our valued clients and customers. This position requires a dynamic and detail-oriented individual with a passion for food, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to coordinate all aspects of catering events to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

1. Sales Coordination: Work closely with the sales team to understand clients' needs, budget, and preferences. Collaborate on menu planning, event logistics, and customized offerings to meet clients' specific requirements.
2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals. Address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
3. Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the catering process. Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure quality and consistency.
4. Event Marketing: Assist in promoting catering services through various channels, such as social media, marketing materials, and attending networking events to attract potential clients.
5. Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations with clients to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. Utilize feedback to enhance future catering services.
6. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during catering events promptly and professionally, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and guests.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Catering Specialist, Catering Manager, or similar role in the hospitality or events industry.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
• Strong understanding of food preparation, menu planning, and food safety standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and vendors.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple events and tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations with composure.
• Knowledge of local catering regulations, health codes, and licensing requirements is advantageous.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
