Cashier/Stocker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized.

*Assistant Manager position also available

The Assistant Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including assisting in scheduling, training, supervising employees, and reporting to the manager. The Assistant Manager is responsible for keeping up to date on the store profits, and all controllable expenses including labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages.

Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and bag items for customers
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays with merchandise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock checks
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Skills:
- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate product features and benefits
- Ability to stock, organize, and maintain inventory in a retail environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Organizational skills to ensure efficient store operations
- Ability to sell additional products or services based on customer needs
- Familiarity with operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices
