Are you a detail oriented individual with excellent customer service, problem-solving, and scheduling skills? If so, you may be just who we are looking for! We are looking for an experienced home care scheduler to join our award-winning team!
As a Scheduling Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be coordinating and maintaining the schedules of Caregivers to meet the authorization needs of our clients. This also includes finding replacement staff for unstaffed shifts or call outs, staffing open hours, and doing your best to provide recurring schedules for our Caregivers that meet their desired working hours.
The Scheduling Coordinator helps in providing the best in home care experience for clients and employees by:
- Ensuring the proper caregiver and client match based on care plans, staff availability, and staff compatibility
- Ensuring that all referrals are received in an accurate, detailed manner and are properly handled
- Performing various supervisory activities for scheduling appropriate caregivers to clients, scheduling additional caregiver training as needed, and monitoring of telephony system to ensure compliance of all scheduled visits.
- Maintaining the scheduling systems in real time as it pertains to authorizations, schedules, availability, shift adjustments, documentation, etc
- Answering or making calls to handle client or caregiver questions, concerns, scheduling issues, referrals, etc in a positive and professional manner

Requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Additional education from an accredited vocational school or college preferred
- Previous experience in home care scheduling preferred
- Ability to complete a drug screen and background check per state and company standards
- Ability to address, resolve, and document caller issues and concerns
- Excellent time management, problem-prevention, and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills - including the ability to communicate with empathy, respect, and a positive tone of voice
- Ability to uphold and promote all company policies and procedures
- Ability to adhere to all HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Ability to take detailed notes, phone messages, and documentation in various systems
Remote Eligible Requirements
- Must have quick, functional internet from your remote work location
- Ability to provide additional office equipment or office supplies if needed
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor from your remote work location
- Ability to provide their undivided attention to work during agreed upon working hours. This includes the ability to make regular dependent care arrangements during working hours if applicable.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Salary Description
$17/hour
