Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Process customer returns and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with locating merchandise and answering product-related questions
- Promote sales by offering additional products or services
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges
Requirements:
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred
- Previous retail sales experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a neat and tidy work area
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Multilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable
- Knowledge of electronics sales is an advantage
- Familiarity with operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Proficient phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
