Patient and Accounting - Revenue Cycle Specialist - Day Shift - Req 6311
The Charge Master-Revenue Cycle Specialist formulates and maintains the hospital's Charge Master in order to optimize revenue generation, maintains compliance with third party payer requirements, and generates management reports relative to resource utilization and associated topics. This position directly assists in coordinated activities of the revenue cycle departments. Works with departments to enhance the efficiency of the revenue cycle process, the charge master maintenance and processes, and reimbursement issues.

Qualifications:
- AAS in a Healthcare or business-related field. Would consider candidate with 3-5 years of related experience in lieu of educational requirement.
- Organizational skills required.
- Capable to sound business practices relating to the revenue cycle.
- Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding.
- Understanding of UB-04 data element requirements.
- Must have good professional rapport and good interpersonal communication skills with managerial staff.
- Microsoft Excel skills strongly preferred.
