Who we are looking for:
Locana is looking for a CAD/EAM Software Developer to support the EAM infrastructure and applications workstream of utility GIS/CAD/EAM implementations and technical support projects. Primary responsibilities will include:
- Configuring proprietary products to meet client-driven utility design (CAD) solution requirements to established EAM software
- Automating material and work order workflows using existing software applications or scripting languages
- Configuring utility data hub rules
- Performing data quality and assurance checks and unit testing
- Working with Locana, partner and client teams to optimize and create efficient solutions
Here are the skills and experience we are looking for:
- 3 + years minimum of professional software development experience
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming
- Experience with AutoCAD or Autodesk API
- Experience in application design/development and database systems
- Knowledgeable in C# and Visual Studio. Understanding dependency injection and inheritance is important.
- Understands REST and SOAP (this is important for integrations)
- Knowledgeable with databases and can write SQL queries as well as stored procedures, triggers, and sequences. (SQL Server is a must, but Oracle is probably a nice to know as well)
- Can read and work with XML & JSON.
- Self-motivated with a desire to grow technical capabilities based on interests and project needs
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment that fosters change, creativity, and flexibility
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%

Locana offers a competitive compensation package including salary, bonus, and highly valued benefits programs. We are also working to increase wage transparency in an effort to create equity and equality. The annual starting salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. Highly qualified individuals may have the opportunity to earn more.
