- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in CAD or Building Technology
- Formal training and experience using AutoCAD a must
- Formal training and experience using Revit a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to read, understand, and produce construction drawings and details
- Knowledge of residential industry or wood framing a plus
- On the job training will be provided for the right candidate without previous experience as a draftsperson
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Engineers to produce construction documents for single-family homes, multi-family condominiums, office buildings, and other miscellaneous projects such as, but not limited to:
- Drafting of structural framing and foundation plans for production homes, custom homes, and townhouses using AutoCAD
- Updating existing structural plans for revisions
- Assembly of site-specific single-family homes plans from a master plan of options
- Preparation of drafted site-specific foundation plans unique for building configuration or site requirements
- Drafting or editing of structural framing details
