Job Description
Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
Manufacture cable / harness products. Reads and interprets work Instructions, schematics, wire tables, and drawings. Performing everything required to build harness assemblies from the ground up pulling wire, stripping, crimping, soldering, connectorizing, electrical checkouts and potting. Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed. Has a great attention to detail. Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assigned tasks. Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.
Basic Qualifications:
Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings in accordance with ASME and IEEE standards including wiring diagrams and custom cable assemblies.
Working experience building and installing custom harness assemblies in accordance with industry standards.
Working experience with industry standards for connector.
Must have color vision to identify cables and wires.
Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude to learn new material quickly.
- High School degree or equivalent.
Preferred Certifications:
Holds or has held IPC-J-STD Solder Certification
Holds or has held NASA.4 or (or IPC equivalent) Harness Certification
Familiarity with hand tools: crimpers, positioners, wire strippers, DMMs, HiPot Testing
Some mechanical assembly experience is a plus
1-2 years of aerospace manufacturing experience
