C++ / Qt Application Developer

`Job Summary:

HOBI International, Inc. is seeking a C++ Application Developer to be responsible for the continued development of existing cross-platform software. The software targets in-house operations and administrative staff. The development team will be involved in various aspects of the software design, including API and UI.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the development team to enhance and maintain the existing cross-platform software.

· Implement new features and functionalities based on provided requirements.

· Design and develop APIs and user interfaces that meet the needs of end-users.

· Collaborate with end-users to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and suggest additional useful features.

· Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

· Perform testing and debugging of the software to ensure high-quality and reliable performance.

· Work closely with the team to prioritize tasks, meet project deadlines, and deliver results.

Requirements:

• Experience in C++ application development.
• Familiarity with the Qt framework for GUI development.
• Familiarity with the PostgreSQL database for data storage and retrieval.
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with end-users and team members.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++ programming language.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues reported by users or identified through testing.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

- Strong proficiency in C++ programming language.
- Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular for front-end development.
- Familiarity with SQL and PostgreSQL for database management.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with Tomcat and Express.js for server-side development.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles.

Please note that this is not an entry-level position. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in C++ development.
