C++ Architect (App Development)

Factored was conceived in Palo Alto, California, by Andrew Ng and a team of highly experienced AI researchers, educators, and engineers to help address the significant shortage of qualified AI & Machine-Learning engineers globally. As a C++ Architect, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance TV applications. This is a hands-on development role where your expertise in C++ will be crucial in creating robust and feature-rich applications for various platforms.

You will:

• Lead the design and architecture of the ad framework for TV applications, considering scalability, performance, and seamless integration with the overall application.
• Develop and deploy ads using primarily C++, and to a lesser extent JavaScript and C# for a seamless user experience.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks within the ad framework, optimizing code for speed, efficiency, and a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize different architectures.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for the ad framework architecture and implementation.

What you bring to Factored:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, focusing on C++.
• Experience in developing applications for smart TVs or other connected TV platforms, IoT/CTV experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Experience with JavaScript and C# is a plus.
