SBD is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in support of our DoD customer located at Ft. Knox, KY.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working within the Project Management and Integrations Division, develop and maintain a Master Milestone Schedule (MMS) that contains projected schedules versus actual deliverable progress. Baseline schedules shall not be changed without written approval from the organizational leaders. Update the MMS monthly throughout the contract period of performance. This schedule will be used as one method to track progress on projects.
- Ensure that all project team members and stakeholders have a clear and working understanding of what the Government's outcome will be.
- Follow the established means of communication to monitor progress, receive early warning of issues, promote cooperation, and motivate through team involvement. Provide progress reports to organizational leaders as required.
- Liaise with internal organizational leadership and personnel, and outside directorates or agencies to ensure task management or task completion.
- Conduct interviews; meet with stakeholders and process owners to gather high level documentation or detailed requirements that will involve the review of current business processes, creation of supporting documentation.
- Facilitate internal and external meetings including scheduling, inviting, and tracking attendees, agendas, and meeting minutes.
- Attend functional meetings as a client representative providing necessary summary of information and follow-on meeting minutes.
- Create, review, and edit organizational strategic communications (STRATCOM) for external announcements.
- Review files, file structure, and naming conventions for internal migration of organizational data to facilitate database content administration and proper document storage.
- Verify and validate the requirements necessary for an organic capability and/or support analysis to identify the organization(s) (internal/external) that accurately address and achieve the goals of the current and future organizational plans.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience supporting knowledge management tools and implementing solutions for large organizations.
- Possess a thorough knowledge and experience of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, function, procedures, agency regulations, and policy pertaining to the Department of the Army.
- 5+ years of experience supporting organizations with 500 or more users.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with a current DoD Secret Clearance.
- Must reside within a commutable distance to Ft. Knox, KY in order to work onsite full time.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, inclusive of drug screening.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless a medical exemption or religious accommodation is approved. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their last dose of their vaccine. Confirmation of vaccine is required.
