Job Title:Business Intelligence Developer
Location: Pueblo, CO (Remote – 1 day onsite per month)
About the Organization: A non-profit integrated healthcare organization based in Pueblo, CO, is on a growth trajectory. The IT department is looking to add a Business Intelligence Developer to enhance data management and analytics.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
As an integral member of the Business Intelligence (BI) team, the BI Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of mission-critical enterprise BI reporting and analytics tools. Working with cross-functional teams, gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs. Using skills and experience as a BI Developer, use those requirements to design, develop, test, and implement tools that utilize the underlying data stores/data warehouses/data marts. Responsibilities include the following:
- Participate in business analysis activities to gather requirements.
- Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required tools.
- Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed tools.
- Ensure that proper configuration management, security, and change controls are implemented and tested.
- Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other team members.
- Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes.
- Perform duties capably with moderate to low supervision.
- Train other team members/staff on relevant topics at which you excel or have significant experience.
- Respond to incoming ticket requests within 1 business day, 100% of the time.
- Provide updates on open tickets to business owners a minimum of weekly, 100% of the time.
- Attend and participate in weekly team meetings, 100% of the time.
- Attend and participate in weekly one-on-one supervision meetings with the BI Supervisor, 100% of the time.
- Produce code/script that conforms to Coding Standard Policies & Procedures 100% of the time.
Key Requirements:
- Technical Skills: 2+ years of experience with any of the following:
- SSIS (SQL Systems Integration Services)
- T-SQL
- PowerBI
- Predictive Analytics Model Development/Data Integration
- Scripting/Programming related to ETL and analytical processes (Preferably Python; R & PowerShell considered)
Nice to Have:
- Cognos Analytics
- IBM Watsonx.AI
- Healthcare industry experience

Expected starting salary is within the range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually
