Recovery Centers of America is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Qlik Developer to join our BI Team to design, develop and deploy actionable analytics in Qlik. The primary focus for this role will allow the candidate to focus on Qlik Sense modeling, scripting, development, and Qlik Sense administration.

Reporting to the Director of Technology and Development, the BI Qlik Developer must demonstrate the ability to understand requirements, document solution design, configure BI solutions, and ensure successful engagements and project go-lives through disciplined project management. You will work with various departments and focus on development of new applications and enhancements, as well as support of existing systems.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Responsible to design, develop and deploy Qlik Sense apps, NPrinting reports and reload processes.
• Serves as a technical expert in all aspects of Qlik Sense for Business Intelligence and data analysis needs, including QMC administration, user access and scheduling.

• Supports management of a multimodal server environment, including maintenance and troubleshooting of reporting platforms.
• Contributes to and employs best practices and strategies in supporting data warehouses, operational data stores, data lakes in the Microsoft stack, leveraging strong SQL skills and ETL development.
• Consults on design and implements solutions with a focus on compliance, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Leverages thorough understanding of business process and system processes to make recommendations and propose technical/non-technical solutions to meet business requirements.
• Designs and maintain robust security measures to protect access to sensitive data.

• Engages in continuous improvement in automating processes and maintenance.
• Collaborates with business owners and analysts to understand their requirements and implement solutions that provide the desired reporting and analytics outcomes.

• Able to gather and analyze data to solve complex problems and evaluate scenarios to make predictions on future outcomes and support decision making.

• Utilizes excellent communication skills both within project teams and with internal clients.
• Works independently as well as in a team to deliver end-to-end analytic solutions within tight deadlines
• Ensures quality of deliverables using development testing methods, code reviews, and user acceptance testing.
• Governance / Best Practices -- adheres and contributes to enterprise data governance standards. Also educates and supports colleagues in best practices to ensure that data is used appropriately.
• Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff, including management and senior level executives
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• On-call for break/fix outside of standard business hours

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years' experience of following BI disciplines: Data Integration, Modeling, Analytics or Reporting

• Must have at least three (3) years developing and deploying Qlik Sense applications including Data Modeling, Data Load, Load Scheduling, Administration (QMC), NPrinting
• Experience with one of the following BI applications is a plus: Qlik View, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau
• Must have strong SQL development experience in a data warehouse environment using T-SQL, database and data warehouse design, stored procedures, SQL Server Agent
• Experience developing ETL, ETL for data warehouses and other data loads using SSIS or equivalent
• Familiarity and experience with the following, preferred: XML, Java, JSON, Python, R
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
• Background in using Lean principles, Agile processes and tools (Jira), preferred
• Healthcare setting experience preferred
