Job description

Amazon Games is seeking an exceptionally skilled and enthusiastic Business Intel Engineer (BIE) to join the Business Operations (BizOps) team, helping to build out the data pipelines and reporting required to sell our games, apps, and in-game items on internal and external storefronts/devices. As part of the AG BizOps Business Intelligence team, you will develop and manage (end-to-end) 3rd party royalty calculation and reporting systems, design reliable mechanisms that Amazon Games will use to map incoming revenue to Amazon's financial ledger and financial payment systems, and help to optimize the over-arching BizOps publishing tech-stack for scale as we grow. The team is working on exciting opportunities to automate the ingestion and treatment of 3rd party transactions from Apple, Google, Steam, Sony, Microsoft, and more!

This leader will partner with Engineers, Accounting, and Finance stakeholders to deliver automated solutions for existing games, at the same time as creating new capabilities for upcoming games.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
