Job Description
- The US TMO Strategic Resourcing and Partnerships (SR&P) function is part of the Strategy and Operations team within the US Trial Monitoring Organization.
- The SR&P is responsible for the comprehensive supplier management program in the country in partnership with senior country management, global Operations, Finance, Talent, and external resourcing vendors, acting as the country nerve-center for US resourcing and relationship capacity related activities.
- The intern candidate will support US Strategy & Operations working closely with the Head of Strategic Resourcing and Partnerships, Finance business partners, system analysts and Business Intelligence to organize, and deliver data and insights that will inform resource forecasting and staffing decisions.
- The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated team player with the ability move work forward independently with a sense of ownership, while maintaining communication with multiple stakeholders.
- Build-out resourcing and budget forecasting models applying naive and mathematical thinking
Contribute to bottoms-up demand analyses to inform the US Trial Monitoring Organization of potential risk in budget and workforce supply. - Assist with identifying and developing automated solutions for staffing and resource reporting standardization.
- Attend US and Global Vendor, Finance and ad hoc meetings as needed.
- Support Dashboarding and ad hoc solutions for resource planning and transparency.
- Support other Strategy & Operations special projects as needed.
- Candidate should be in a US accredited degree-granting college or university pursuing a post graduate degree. MBA or PhD preferred with focus in business, economics, mathematics or Pharmaco-Informatics/Management.
- Possesses strong qualitative thinking skills.
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; and to work in a diverse and changing environment.
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Strong understanding and practical experience in fundamentals of software and data architecture.
- Knowledge of AWS, visualization tools and Programing language is a plus.
- Good organizational skills.
