Project Overview:
- This project requires the SME from the Epic and other equal EMR technologies background and should have data analysis background.
Role Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Business Analyst and Subject Matter Expert (SME) with expertise in healthcare information systems, particularly Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) data.
- The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in understanding and translating healthcare business needs into technical requirements, providing expertise in healthcare systems, and facilitating the integration of EDI data.
- This position requires a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, interoperability, and data standards.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to healthcare information systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and EDI data.
System Integration:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in healthcare information systems, providing insights into the integration of Epic, Cerner, and Meditech solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability between healthcare systems.
Data Analysis and Mapping:
- Analyze and understand EDI data formats and standards relevant to healthcare, such as HL7 and X12.
- Perform data mapping and transformation activities to facilitate the exchange of healthcare data.
Workflow Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization within healthcare systems to enhance efficiency and usability.
- Work with end-users to understand their needs and provide recommendations for system improvements.
Testing and Validation:
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure the accuracy and reliability of healthcare information systems and EDI data exchanges.
- Collaborate with testing teams to validate system enhancements and upgrades.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of healthcare system configurations, data mappings, and integration points.
- Document EDI data specifications and trading partner agreements.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to Data Engineers on healthcare systems and EDI data processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting and issue resolution related to healthcare information systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science , Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven 10 to 12 years' experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare industry, with expertise in Epic, Cerner, and Meditech systems.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare data standards, including HL7 and X12 EDI.
- Experience with healthcare
