Business Analysis Specialist I

As a Business IT Analysis Specialist, you will be a member of the global technical support team within Procurement Frontline IT organization for PPG's. Business Analysis Specialist II is seen as an individual contributor within their team. They are competent at managing their time, have collaboration skills. They do not manage other individuals. The decisions they make could affect their immediate team/specific area of support but could also influence the larger team. You can work remotely and will report to Sr IT Manager, Procurement IT

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Support to ePro and related tools in procurement Frontline IT organization. The support in epro involves troubleshooting issues and resolving tickets and perform IT Audit
• Assimilate assigned department's products and processes. Experience in gathering requirements, functional design, testing and working with business processes
• Good technical knowledge and express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business. Experience with software development and release methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
• Build business relationships with individual business and technical team members within assigned department
• Develop good working relationships across a diverse team of functional, technical, and other partners
• Knowledge of PPG Project Management practices and application
• Work as individual contributor, lead or deliver small projects
• Support software delivery with specifications, user stories development and acceptance testing

Qualifications

• A four-year or three-year degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 6 years of IT or a role In Business Analyst or an IT Consultant.
• Background working in an ERP environment or having Business processes knowledge like Supply chain, finance or procurement is desirable
• Must have experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business processes.
• Must be comfortable working remotely using virtual means of collaborating with colleagues and managers
• Support minor user requests such as ad-hoc reports, data extraction, data analysis using Excel (can perform complex functions) SQL knowledge required.
