The Wholesale Team is responsible for world-class business development, management, and operational services to enable rapid innovation and growth for T-Mobile’s Wholesale business, which consists of Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO), Internet of Things (IoT), and Machine to Machine (M2M) segments. Wholesale is a quick-moving, entrepreneurial, and rapidly growing part of T-Mobile’s overall business.

The Business Analysis Manager will use reporting tools (Power BI) and write SQL to create and configure new reports and dashboards. Must be comfortable SQL extract, transform, and load processes as the Business Analysis Manager will be working with data sets in various platforms and formats (Teradata/Azure/Excel/Text) and loading into our centralized data location. Will participate in T-Mobile projects and provide requirements and suggestions based on Wholesale data needs. May provide support and training to end users for reporting tools and reports.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong competency and comfort working with and analyzing large sets of data. Perform data mining as needed to support analyses and drive key insights. Gather moderately complex data inputs from multiple sources, both internally and externally, to build data infrastructure in Teradata & Azure using SQL.
  • Create Power BI reports and executive-level presentations and present complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner. Possess the ability to influence leadership through fact-based analyses.
  • Perform continuous channel profitability analysis, understanding key drivers of performance (e.g. sales volumes, margin, customer retention, value creation, return on investment). Effectively communicate performance to channel leaders, and identify risks and opportunities.

  • Partner with channel leadership to execute key operational initiatives. Work closely with internal clients to understand business issues, and incorporate them into business and financial models.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Job Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree Quantitative concentration

Work Experience:

  • 4-7 years Working experience in financial and operational analysis.

  • Telecommunication experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
