Job Summary:
Drive a bus on campus, city streets, and state mandated highways. Safely transport university students, staff/faculty and general public on a fixed scheduled bus route, on demand response or tour services. Perform a prescribed pre-operational safety maintenance check. Accumulate and record statistics for daily report. Perform all other responsibilities as assigned.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older and able to stoop, bend or kneel to secure wheelchairs to fulfill ADA requirements and lift at least 50 lbs.

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED
Must have or obtain within 30 days of hire a Class B Commercial license with "P" endorsement and air brake endorsement, cost of training for license to be covered by the department.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years' experience driving a bus or like vehicle.
Should have a Class B commercial license with "P" endorsement (or have the ability to obtain in 30 days) and air brake endorsement.
