General Summary
The Brand Marketing Director role requires a strategic thinker with a digital first attitude, experienced in consumer brand management, channel management, social media, content creation, content distribution and PR.
The individual will be directly responsible for implementing brand strategy, seasonal launch, and go-to-market plans, executing tactical marketing programs, launch activities, events and promotions. The Marketing Director will coordinate internal marketing communication, develop, and manage annual & seasonal budgets and work closely with the product develop and sales management teams.
Essential Job Functions
• Oversee planning & implementing annual/seasonal launch strategies and go-to-market plans
• Drive wholesale and direct ecommerce sales, customer engagement, brand awareness, relevance, and market presence
• Responsible for the achievement of marketing goals and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives
• Collaborate with Director of E-comm to Develop, implement, and measure digital marketing programs through multiple channels including web, search, social, email and mobile
• Together with the creative dept, drive and oversee weekly newsletters, working closely with the ecommerce team to deliver an on-brand message promoting key products/initiatives
• Drive the distribution of content in support of the overall retail & digital marketing effort
• Plan and execute events and promotions in support of launch and go-to-market strategies
• Work with SLT to develop and maintain a strategic perspective and ensure timely execution of all strategies, programs, and tactics
• Develop and manage annual and seasonal budgets
• Manage marketing calendar
• Develop and pitch potential brand partnerships/collaborations, negotiate terms, manage relationships and business details pertaining to the contracts
• Produce seasonal photoshoots, both in studio and on location, and manage budget associated
• Plan and execute comprehensive marketing communication and public relations programs
• Develop and implement Cause marketing strategies
• Act as an internal voice to generate new ideas and groundbreaking platforms to keep brand on the forefront of innovation
• Work closely with Product Development and Sales Management teams to align launch and go-to-market strategies
• Support and oversee cross-functional teams throughout to achieve company goals and objectives

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or similar, plus 10 years of marketing experience
Experience in apparel industry a must
Experience in managing others
Physical Requirements
Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to read reports.
Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and employees.
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products.
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type and use technical sources.
