Position Summary: The Bookkeeper will maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. They will work closely with our team to create and analyze financial reports. They will be responsible for accurately recording all day-to-day financial transactions of the company.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other related duties as assigned.
- Maintains monthly ledger entries
- Manages Accounts Payable
- Oversees Payroll
- Reconciles monthly bank statements
- Reconciles monthly credit card statements
- Accurately records invoices, payments, and receipts
- Performs other duties as necessary or assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in Xero, Quickbooks or other accounting software
- Extremely high level of integrity
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Bookkeeping, preferably in the Healthcare field.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation a bonus.
