Job Title: Boat Operator

Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour shift (days and nights)
Responsibilities:
As a Boat Operator, you will be responsible for deploying booms around vessels during loading operations. This pivotal role demands a skilled and experienced individual with a strong understanding of maritime operations, particularly in the context of deploying booms effectively. The primary location for this role will be in Ingleside.
Key Responsibilities:
Boom Deployment: Execute the deployment of booms around vessels during loading operations, ensuring effective containment and protection of the surrounding environment.
Shift Work: Be prepared to work 12-hour shifts, both during the day and night, in order to accommodate operational requirements.
Twin Screw Operation: Preferred candidates will have experience operating boats with twin screw propulsion systems.
Boat Operation: Safely operate boats with power ranging from 250hp to 400hp, demonstrating proficiency in handling vessels of varying sizes.
Qualifications:
Boat Operation Experience: Proven experience in operating boats, particularly those with twin screw propulsion systems.
Licensing: Possession of a valid and relevant Boat Operator's license.
Mechanical Knowledge: Basic understanding of boat mechanics and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
Safety Awareness: Prioritize and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all operations.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to coordinate activities with other team members and ensure smooth operations.
