Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) to join our team. As a BCAT, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) to enhance their learning experience and overall well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one support to students with autism spectrum disorders, implementing behavioral strategies outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs).

  2. Data Collection and Analysis: Monitor and record student progress, behavior, and response to interventions. Utilize data to adjust and refine support strategies.

  3. Collaboration: Work closely with special education teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to create a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

  4. munication: Maintain open and effective munication with parents, caregivers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to student support.

  5. Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of autism spectrum disorders. Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  1. Board Certification: Must hold a valid Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) certification.

  2. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, special education, applied behavior analysis).

  3. Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders in an educational setting is preferred.

  4. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent munication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

  5. Passion: A genuine passion for working with individuals with autism and a mitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
