SalaryThird Space Kitchen is looking for a party host for special events. A successful party host at a cooking school should be confident in the kitchen, have strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate the ability to create a dynamic and enjoyable experience for all participants. They play a pivotal role in ensuring that the event is a memorable and enjoyable occasion for the guests. Many of our events are daytime weekends, booked one after the other. Party hosts can opt to work several events in one day to maximize their hours if they choose.
Responsibilities include:
Event Setup and Clean up (prepare cooking equipment, ingredients, and utensils)
Greet guests, engage throughout and provide assistance
Conduct cooking demonstrations and provide step-by-step instructions to guests on how to prepare the dishes. Ensure that guests follow safety and hygiene guidelines while working in the kitchen.
Create an enjoyable and interactive atmosphere
Oversee the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet high-quality standards.
Customer Service-Ensure that guests have a positive experience and leave with a sense of satisfaction.
Be prepared to handle any safety or emergency situations that may arise during the event, including first aid if necessary.
Follow-Up: maintain attendee lists, share photos of the event, document anything of relevance to the Owners etc.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
